We took a 1/2 hour ride on a canoe upriver to the village that we're visiting. It's such a beautiful place, there's about 100 people that lives in the village and they are all related to each other. They live off their land and they have such a relaxing life.

After lunch at the village, we went upriver to go to a couple of waterfalls. That was definitely the highlight of our trip. We saw a lot of smaller waterfalls along the way, and we also hit a few rapids. At the waterfall, our guide offered to take Aden up to the waterfall spot since we had to swim for part of the way there. The guide was awesome, he was jumping on rocks (barefoot!) and scaling rocks while carrying Aden. Aden didn't get wet at all, and he really did an awesome job letting the guide take him. It was definitely worth it, since the waterfall was such an awesome sight. My only regret is that we didn't have a waterproof camera with us, so I didn't get any waterfall shots!
