It's a duck!

One of the perks being a mom-helper in Aden's Kinder class and having such an awesome teacher who lets me bring K with me! Little miss watched the ducks hatch out of their eggs! First time I've seen one also, and we were so excited! It was such a cool day.

She's a bike rider...

I think Kadence just watches Aden do everything first, then she jumps in, raring to go. I don't even know how she learned to pedal and control a bike, but one day, she asked Darin if she can ride her bike, and he was as shocked as I was that she can actually ride a bike!

Spring Break Treat

The kids and I met Nancy & Alex at Slappycakes for breakfast the Monday of Spring break week. The kids loved it so much. It was especially fun because my sister got to join us!

Quiet time

I used to get nervous when it gets really quiet at our house and it's not nap time. Usually it means that someone is getting into something. But now that the kids are a bit bigger, they are a lot more "responsible". This is a glimpse of how it is at our house on a daily basis...when it's quiet, they're usually doing this:

Birthday Girl

Kadence turned 3 last February. We did the usual gathering with our favorite friends. She had a blast and still talks about her birthday. It's amazing how much she's grown and how fast it flew by. She's so petite, I still think of her as our baby. But she reminds us everyday that she's now a big girl. I just wish I can slow down time a little...

Busy Bees

I can't believe how long it's been since I posted on this blog. It's not due to lack of material...it's just the time. We are sooooo busy. There's so much to catch up on. In the past 4 months, we've done a birthday party for the little miss, had lots of get-togethers, beach trips, oh, and remodeled our entire kitchen. That took most of our time. There's also work, work and more work. I am so busy on a daily basis that my head hurts thinking about it. I constantly feel like I don't accomplish anything. But, the good news is summer is almost here. The bad news? Summer is almost here. It'll only get crazier.
